Welcoming our dear friends from the American Baptist Home Mission Society
Lower 9 Resilient is thrilled to welcome our dear friends at the American Baptist Home Mission Society to the Lower 9th Ward from July 31 - Aug. 4. More than 130 volunteers with the Baptist Society will help residents and our community partners with rebuilding projects as we continue to recover from Hurricane Katrina. This is their 11th annual trip to the Lower 9th Ward since Katrina. Their motto "Till the Work is Done" shows their commitment to continue to return and help rebuild as long as needed. We are so very thankful for their love and support!
